Keeping the momentum going with the 3rd annual resident's food drive.

The 3^rd Annual Kelson Group Resident's Food Drive will take place on June 12^th. In keeping with tradition, Kelson Group has committed to donating a dollar for every pound of food collected - this could mean a hefty sum! Last year's food drive saw a 30% increase in food donated, going from 3,080 lbs. to 4,482 lbs. of food donated. If the same holds true this year, that could mean almost 6,000 lbs. of food!

What a goal!

"Seeing an event like this, where Kelson Group residents and staff work side by side to offer something so meaningful to the communities we live in, makes us all proud of what we've been able to accomplish together," said Kelly Fawcett, Vice President, Maintenance and Construction for Kelson Group. "In a world where hunger still permeates our neighbourhoods, schools, workplaces, and community at large, we could not think of a better area to support. We know a small donation on our part has a big impact on others."

This year, residents at any Kelson Group building can drop off non-perishable food items between Tuesday, June 11^th and no later than Wednesday, June 12^th, before 10:00 am. Donation boxes will be located in the main lobby or building entrance. Our building management teams will collect the food and deliver to their local food bank.
