Kamloops, B.C.: Kelson Group is thrilled to announce a huge win for our development at TRU in the BC Central Interior’s 2022 Housing Awards of Excellence.

The Keystone Awards is an event hosted by the Canadian Home Builder’s Association of Central Interior (CHBA-CI) to celebrate housing excellence in the city of Kamloops. Rockcliffe at TRU by Kelson Group took gold in the Best Multi-Family Development High Rise category during this year’s awards gala held on April 9.

Jason Fawcett, president of Kelson Group was pleased with the recognition for the 40-suite condo development.

“This is an exciting win for our team,” he said. “Rockcliffe at TRU was the first market unit housing development for our company. Not only did the development almost sell out in one day, but the residents who live there today are enjoying the quality product located in the beautiful campus setting of the university with unbelievable views.”

Interestingly, Kelson Group was a Silver finalist in the same category for Legacy Square Apartments. The group was also a Silver finalist for Best Marketing Website for its Rockcliffe at TRU condominiums.

The awards gala, which was held at the Grand Hall at TRU, recognized several other silver finalists and celebrated their excellence in a variety of real estate development projects.

Construction of Rockcliffe at TRU began in 2019 as part of The Reach neighbourhood, a 90-acre mixed-use development on the TRU campus. The condominiums were designed in a way that would allow its residents to enjoy the panoramic city and campus views, while offering quality living.

“Providing quality housing to help people live better is our mission, and this gold Keystone award is wonderful recognition of our entire team who worked so hard to make this project come together,” added Fawcett.
